Dennis Barton

Dennis founded the company in 1982 and is a still a director and adviser. Dennis holds Bachelor’s degrees in Science and Economics and a Fellowship of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia having qualified as an Actuary in 1973. He qualified as an Associate of the Securities Institute of Australia in 1978 and was elevated to a Fellow of that Institute in 1985.  He is also registered as a Tax (financial) Adviser with the Tax Practitioners Board.

Before commencing the financial planning practice, Dennis was the Western Australian Government Actuary. He was, for a time, Chairman of the Western Australian State Superannuation Board (now GESB), he chaired the Western Australian Fire and Emergency Services Superannuation Board and was a trustee of the Activ Foundation Superannuation Fund policy committee from 1995 to 1999. Dennis was previously on the independent advisory board for Aspen Group Ltd and was a board member (and later Treasurer) of Future Living Trust from 1995 to 2019.

Liz Rae (née Gliddon)

Liz joined the company in 2010 whilst still at university and graduated from The University of Western Australia in 2012 with Bachelor’s degrees in Commerce and Science.  After graduating, Liz took up the roles of client service manager and para-planer and then commenced her role as a financial adviser in 2014.  Liz became a director of Andep in 2018.

Liz attained her Diploma of Financial Planning in 2014 and her Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning in 2017.  She qualified as an Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) in 2014 and was elevated to a Senior Associate of that Institute in 2015. She is also registered as a Tax (financial) Adviser with the Tax Practitioners Board.

Liz was previously the Treasurer for charitable organisation Friends of L’Arche Perth, is currently the Board Secretary for 55 Central Inc having first joined the board in 2014 and in 2021 she joined FINSIA’s Financial Advice and Services Industry Council.
