Investment Choice

Are you unsure whether you should buy shares, make bigger repayments on your housing loan or make excess superannuation contributions?

This calculator shows, for any select period, the after tax accumulation of:

  • pre-tax money committed to concessional
  • non concessional superannuation contributions,
  • personal (non super) investment,
  • clearance of housing loans and
  • insurance bonds.

It also shows the implicit compound annual growth.

Users simply need to select their taxable income band and whether they earn above or below $250,000.  All other assumptions are pre-populated with reasonable figures but can still be changed by users.

Users will be able to download the Microsoft Excel file after purchase.  We ask that users only share the calculator with immediate family members and encourage others to purchase their own.

You will need the full version of Microsoft Excel to be able to use this calculator to its full potential.
